I was born in Mineral Wells in 1962, married my wife in Mineral Wells in 1982, and together we settled and raised our 3 children in Mineral Wells. We have been proud Palo Pinto County residents for over 4 decades and by the grace of God, have thrived in our endeavors here.

I have always chosen to stay true to my roots and remain present in the community that built me. From coaching youth baseball and serving in church leadership, to owning and operating a local business for 30+ years.

I joined the Palo Pinto County Sheriff's Department as a Sheriff's Deputy in 2019 and over the last 4 years, have developed an understanding and appreciation for the demand of a public servant in the law enforcement capacity.

If elected, I plan to lay the foundation for a more effective and responsive law enforcement agency by prioritizing teamwork, communication, and a collective mindset. Strengthening these areas of our department will allow us to more efficiently serve the citizens of Palo Pinto County. Above all, I plan to embed the over arching ideology that WE are greater than ME.
